Not all coverage is the same. When comparing rental agency CDW and alternatives, be sure to:

Get pricing for a similar size and grade of vehicle.
Compare limits (new replacement cost vs depreciated value)
Examine the exclusions to be sure intended uses of the vehicle are covered.
Compare deductibles (which may range from $0 to $1000 or more) for which the driver is responsible
In addition, bear in mind that:

More expensive vehicles will cost more.
Taxes vary by state and province.
